California EEI Curriculum
The California Education and the Environment Initiative (California EEI) Curriculum is a cooperative, statewide effort to help K-12 students learn about the environment and how it relates to their everyday lives. This innovative curriculum is being developed by the CIWMB’s Office of Education and the Environment in collaboration with the California Environmental Protection Agency, various education partners, and school districts throughout the state. The EEI Curriculum will offer a comprehensive approach to teaching selected California Academic Content Standards to mastery. This curriculum is not an instructional supplement. To learn more about the EEI, take a look at our draft curriculum (posted for review as the units are ready). The curricula are being simultaneously tested in the classroom. Your comments are encouraged!
